At the heart of HHD is Principal Designer and Founder Garrett Henson-Hinck, whose love for design took root in his childhood home in West Tennessee. What began with rearranging furniture quickly grew into a lifelong pursuit, eventually leading him to earn a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Over the years, Garrett has shaped a wide-ranging portfolio that includes everything from gracious historic homes to new builds, mountain retreats, and city apartments. Each project is approached with fresh perspective and a deep respect for the people who live there. His approach is rooted in the belief that great interiors tell a story—layered with meaning, filled with personality, and crafted with care.
Garrett is joined by a talented and collaborative team of designers and professionals who share a passion for thoughtful design and seamless execution. With expertise spanning interior architecture, project management, and clear, friendly communication, the HHD team works hand in hand with clients to bring their vision to life, from the first sketches to the final installations.
